How To Target Facebook Ads Based On Email Address &Amp

Facebook is an enormously powerful advertising tool. Who you target on Facebook is one of the major factors that will determine whether or not your campaigns will be successful - but because there are so many targeting options at your disposal, it can be easy to overlook some of the more effective tools, or even remain totally unaware of their existence.

I've created lookalike audiences from video engagement. Digital marketers are on a perpetual quest to use data to understand their customers. Pro tip: Once you've created your advanced WCA, you can also create a lookalike audience from it in order to find people similar to those in your WCA.

If you don't have enough purchases recorded with your pixel, you could focus on using the people who visited your campaign page to create a Lookalike audiences instead. So you can't create them from Saved Audiences. From that custom audience, you can then create a lookalike audience.

Now, your ads won't just appear to your followers and previous customers, it will appear to people who closely match your previous customers and are likely to make purchases in your vertical. 1. Upload a customer file to your Power Editor, then Facebook will blend the records with existing user accounts and create custom audience from the matches.

This is what allows Facebook to implement something like Lookalike audiences so successfully. You'll then be prompted to select a source to use to create your Custom Audience. Before, it was possible to layer demographic information onto a custom audience to work backward and identify individuals on a list in more detail.

To create a Custom Audience, go into the Ads Manager and select Audiences from the main menu dropdown. It will make your company more profitable and help you determine the ideal customers to focus your marketing and sales efforts on. This is an extremely effective method of reaching new potential customers - who are more likely to convert based on past behaviours.

Depending on how closely you want to match your base audience, you can set up a lookalike audience size that's anywhere from 1% to 10%, where the 1% includes only those people who most closely match your base audience. Another profit advantage of these types of audiences is their costs are typically lower than saved target groups.

Keep standard Facebook best practices in mind - use engaging language and eye-catching images to draw customers to your posts. Match the top X% of the target audience means to build a lookalike audience consisting of the specified percentage of Facebook users in the target country that best match your audience.

Like we said before, Lookalike Audiences have no life apart from a Custom Audience, so we'll start there. Get as many people onto your list as possible to use for lookalike audiences in the future. The results will be identical either way, so we highly advise you keep it simple with AdEspresso and split test your lookalike audiences within the same campaign.

In this post I want to share with you some examples from a recent Facebook Campaign I ran showing you just how effective Facebook Lookalike Audiences can be. Same principle as before, provide Facebook a list of your best customers, and let them do the best. After selecting the seed audience for your campaign, further refine your targeting using the interest, demographic and behavior targeting as you would for any other campaign.

Your first one is to select which Custom Audience you'd like to base your Lookalike Audience on (if you've created more than one Custom Audience). For example, you could upload a seed audience of users that have converted in a particular country, allowing you to target potential new customers within that country specifically.
